Rain, rain and more rain...

Wow will it ever stop raining! British 'Summer time' at its best, feels like the title of a painting!!

Being a person who suffers from SAD syndrome this rain and the feeling our summer is over early isn't having the best of results. We've had to bring our horses in already which has a knock-on effect in various other areas of my life, and looking for some positives to lighten my mood can be testing.

On the plus side, I have taken a leap and booked some space in our local village gallery for an exhibition! It is a good while off being December 2020 but time will soon fly by. I will be setting out a plan to ensure that I am ready and well-prepped to make the most of it!

I will soon be starting to offer limited edition prints on my site of some of my favourite paintings, I'm currently looking into the best suppliers to produce these and I'm quite interested in exploring other gift ideas especially with the exhibition being near to Christmas, watch this space!

I have just finished a commission of a painting for one of my best friends, I think it has been the most challenging painting I've done so far! Yes is was detailed but there was the added pressure of wanting this painting to be extra special. It's of a scene that Louise holds very dear and I wanted to preserve that memory for her so I've been very fussy with it double checking constantly.

Louise was really happy and emotional when she finally saw her painting. One very happy customer!
