Back from Baby time!

So back painting following the birth of my baby! Definitely my greatest achievement by far. Coming from a lady who truly wasn't going to have ANY children! But come on look at those eyes!!

So the final push (no pun intended) to get back into painting was the fact that I need to always have a project or at least be on with something and when I did get any spare time I was actually baking. Problem with this was that I was piling the weight on as I'd eat it all. Thus baby weight was more cake weight.

Anyway I'd started a painting just before getting pregnant which had been sat on my easel for a while, it was an idea I had in moving forward to trying new things. This is the first of a planned series of three, its going to be the three disciplines of eventing. The first being dressage, I'm really pleased with it and the second has already been started, which is going to be the cross country phase.

Ruby is currently on her lunchtime nap so I'm taking the opportunity to catchup on updates and hopefully get in the garden for half an hour, so I'll sign off for now. Lets hope this nice weather says with us for the weekend.
