No Fear Paintings

Well I've finally started the final painting in the seasons series, and its Spring Time. Its been a nightmare to be honest I have had painters block in that I had an idea in my head as to what I wanted to paint but could not settle on a source image. Everything that I found I had an issue with, something just wasn't right. I'd searched all the usual places with no success and I didn't really want to start another painting with this one hanging over me.
But thankfully with the wonder of Pinterest and the boards I follow one showed up! Although I did alter it as normal but not by much, and I might add a little surprise to it too, in the form of a little spring lamb :)

I've got about another hour to spend on it and then the final sealing of it to match the finish of all the others. The frame is already here waiting for its turn so all is good.
I did manage to knock over my easel while painting and gouged out a bloody big hole in the wallpaper but the painting was unhurt!
I also wanted to mention the awesomeness of acrylic paint. I painted in the basic shape of the tree in the background, and I didn't like it, over the years I've learned that its ok to make mistakes or to want to change a painting. Even better with acrylics I just mixed up a similar colour to the sky and covered it, no problem, dries so fast and ready for a new version in minutes. Completely no worries, so if theres anyone out there who fancies a go at painting then go for acrylics defo worth it! Go forth and paint with no fear but try not to knock over your easel :)
