New Year

I've had a lovely break over Christmas and New year, visiting family and friends and also delivering my secret project! As well has having a really good sort out at home and some DIY projects mixed in, I'm never one to sit still!

The secret project was a painting for my lovely sister in law for Christmas, of a photo she loves, it was a surprise so couldn't post any in progress shots.

Thankfully she really loved it and as always its the best feeling ever to have my work appreciated.

So i'm just about to start my next project although I'm really struggling to make the final decision on what its going to be exactly.

I know its going to be a spring painting as its the last one in the season series and I want it to contain pink blossom but i'm finding it hard to source a guide photo that I really like, so this has slowed things up. I think i'm going to just have to draw the line on it and go with the flow!

I really want to get this series finished as I've already got an idea for my next pieces, really want to focus on some lovely smaller paintings that can be displayed individually or as a 'team'. But we will see :-)
